Urban exploration - Jacqueline's house

We received photos from a traveler and compiled them into a historical summary.

This abandoned house poses a thousand times more questions than it offers answers. To form hypotheses would be an insult to reality, so great is the incoherence of what we know. It is a magnificent villa near a splendid little town: everything is there to love. However, it is in an absolutely indescribable state of shambles. What could have led to this?

I visited it at lightning speed, as some serious concerns emerged.

The house has been squatted. In this case, I stumbled upon a fridge that was actually running. Surrounding the fridge were dozens of packets of instant mashed potatoes. But if the fridge is working, why have the yogurts inside been expired for a year? Is the squat itself "expired"?

So, the house was occupied, but why is there no path through the various rooms (it’s a mountain of clutter), and why are there no available beds, all of them buried under a mess of junk? Why is the house so wide open?

One person suggests it might have already been like this before. Is that true? It would be very difficult to say for sure. In short, and with all due respect to the family, if the local neighborhood inquiry is correct, this was the villa of Claude and Jacqueline. Claude was a highly esteemed veterinarian in his small town. Having two first names, he was better known to the community by his middle name, Georges.

Claude passed away in October 2014 at the age of 82. Jacqueline passed away in March 2017 at the age of 93. There were two daughters in the household: Delphine, their daughter, and Annie, their daughter-in-law.

Jacqueline faced immense difficulties in receiving her widow’s pension. In June 2015, at the age of 92, she found herself in a state of total financial precariousness. This led her to considerable distress. Annie, the daughter-in-law, passed away in September 2023.

We are standing before a truly tragic fate; the history of this house is deeply marked by pain.
